Mark Elbert Jones, Jr.

Mark Elbert Jones, Jr., 84, of Moultonborough, passed away at the Meredith Bay Colony Club, of Meredith on Saturday, July 24, 2010, after a lenghty illness.Born on October 17, 1925 in Waterbury, CT; he was the son of Mark E. and Adeline (Beach) Jones, Sr. Mark was raised in Millville, CT, and attended Naugatuck schools.Mark was a true outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, trapping and fishing; he was also an avid antiques collector. Mark has been a resident of Moultonborough since 1983. He was employed by the Kimberly Clark Corporation as a Mason Crew Header.He was predeceased by his son, David Jones, in 1982.Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Jane (Kloe), of Meredith; two daughters, Linda Daly, of Santa Barbara, CA, and Kathleen Bartolini and husband Giacomo, of Naugatuck, CT; four grandchildren, Tracie, Larry, Mark, and Jody; five great-grandchildren, Daniel and Michelle, Amber, Anthony, and Isabella.Cemetery:A private interment will be held at the Center Cemetery, of New Milford, CT, at a later date.
