Marjorie H. Goff, 95, of Campton, passed away at Lakes Region General Hospital, in Laconia, after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, MA on February 5, 1917, she was the daughter of Russell E. and Harriet (Durfee) Goff. Marjorie was raised in both New Bedford and Providence, RI. She attended grammar school in New Bedford, before attending private school in Providence. She went on to attend Brown University, earning a bachelor's degree in 1939.
Marjorie was an avid reader and loved the Red Sox.
She is predeceased by a brother, Russell E. Goff, Jr.
Marjorie is survived by her brother, Peter B. Goff, of Campton, and two nieces, Susan Wilson, of Concord, NH, and Patricia Ladd, of Acton, ME.
Services will be private at the request of the family.
