Marjorie Jean (Decelle) Cairns

Marjorie Jean (Decelle) Cairns, 77, of Meredith, NH, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010, at Lakes Region Hospital, in Laconia, NH, after a period of declining health.Born on December 17, 1932, in Quincy, MA, she was the daughter of Raymond Ezra and Gertrude Julia (Djerf) Decelle. Marjorie was raised in West Quincy, and attended Quincy Public Schools.Marjorie was a homemaker who loved cooking and knitting, she was a loving grandmother who cherished the time spent with her only grandchild, her "Jakey", and just enjoyed being with her friends and family whenever she could.She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 31 years, John Leamon Cairns, formerly of Quincy, in 1982; two children, Catherine M. (Cairns) Panarello, and John L. Cairns, Jr.; a brother, Raymond E. Decelle, Jr., and a sister, Carol M. Decelle.Marjorie is survived by her loving daughter, Juliann Cairns Pywell and husband Jeffery, of Newbury Park, CA; her son, Richard A. Cairns, of Quincy; a brother, John "Jack" Decelle, also of Quincy; a nephew, Richard Myatt, of Marshfield, MA; and her cherished and beloved grandson, John "Jakey" M.P. Cairns Pywell, also of Newbury Park. Service:Services will be private.
