Marion C. "Billie" Wood, 88, formerly of New Hebron Road, Plymouth, surrounded by her family, died April 7, 2017, at the Grafton County Nursing Home, in N. Haverhill, NH.
Born in Plymouth, NH, on July 11, 1928, she was the daughter of Donald A. and Mina (Palmer) Campbell.
Billie grew up in and was a life-long resident of Plymouth. She graduated from Plymouth High School, and from business school with a degree in business.
Billie worked for many years for Wakefield & Ray, P.A. then to Ray & Hopkins, P.A., then to Brian Ray, P.A. , all of Plymouth, until retirement.
Billie was predeceased by husband John A. Wood, who died in February of 1969, her sons Steven J. Wood, who died in November of 1993 and Sheldon D. Wood, who died in February of 2006.
Peeps is survived by her daughter Susan Wood and son in law Mike Latulippe, two granddaughters Amanda Cote and Abby Cote, sister Dawn C. Matthews, two nieces Cathy Feener and Cindy Oliver.
A funeral service will be held in the Plymouth Congregational Church UCC, Main St. Plymouth, on Monday, May 1, at 11am. The Rev. Paulo Franca, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth. A celebration of Billie's life will follow her services at her home at 96 New Hebron Road in Plymouth.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Grafton County Nursing Home, 3855 Dartmouth College Highway, North Haverhill, NH 03774.
