Maribeth McCue, 63, of Manchester, died September 11, 2021 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
After 31 years of marriage, one would think a person would understand why a relationship endures. I wish I knew so I could understand why my beloved is now gone from my life, but I realize the inevitable would eventually happen as her health failed and death would be the final solution to her pain. I was extraordinary lucky to have met Maribeth knew it was right, got married and lived a wonderful life. My memories except for the ending will always be happy.
Maribeth is survived by her husband of 31 years, Kevin, their son Trevor has developed into a fine young man, very successful with a great future, her sister-in-laws, Colleen, Christine, and Nancy.
Her journey began in Binghamton, NY. In 1958, her father the late Basil Watkins, and her mother, Patricia (Schaeffer) Watkins, her 2 brothers both younger, Eric and Phillip and a few nieces and nephews.
She was always a dedicated worker who had a long career in administration management working for numerous non-profits and medical offices. She was a prolific seamstress making numerous articles of clothing and especially adroit at needle point winning numerous awards and commendations. Including a blue ribbon at the annual Sandwich Fair. She enjoyed singing and acting in local theatre groups give the opportunity.
She always tried to act and look her best no matter what the situation. Class is something she always possessed and with her natural beauty and personality would always make me feel so fortunate and proud. Lucky to be her husband. In fact, I kind of got tired of hearing "how did I ever get lucky enough to be with her". Not sure myself but I miss her so much!
