Margaret Murray

WARREN- Margaret A. (Edney) Murray, of Warren, NH passed away at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH surrounded by her family on February 5, 2015.

Mrs. Murray was born on August 5, 1935, the daughter of Merton and Ivah Edney of Easton, NH. This is where Margaret grew up.
On June 5, 1953 Margaret married Harold L. Murray. They had five children together. Margaret stayed home to raise and care for their children. Later they moved to Belmont, NH where they lived for many years. During this time Margaret provided childcare for her granddaughters Allyson and Aime while they were young.

After the passing of her husband she moved to Warren, NH where she has lived with her youngest daughter Mary for the past seventeen years. She loved animals, and always had a trusty dog by her side. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR; her favorite driver was Dale Jr.

Survivors include four of her children: Alice Thayer of Laconia, NH, Harold Murray of Alton, NH, Mary Carlson of Warren, NH, and George Murray of Belmont, NH. Along with three granddaughters Allyson Hobby, Aime Greenwood both of Laconia NH, and Crystal Murray of Alton, NH. She has five wonderful great grandsons. Several nieces and nephews and her little dog Tutu. She was predeceased by
her husband, a son Francis Murray and her parents, her brothers Clayton Edney, Francis Edney, and Merton Edney Jr.

Margaret will be cremated and there will be a graveside service in the spring in Franconia, NH. For those who wish, the family suggests a memorial donation to an animal shelter of your choice in her memory.
