Madeline Bruno, 81, formerly of Plymouth St., Meredith, passed away on July 5, 2012 at Laconia Genesis Elder Care Center, in Laconia.
Born on April 9, 1931 in Warren, NH, she was the daughter of Clarence and Lydia (Bailey) Tewksbury. Madeline was raised in Warren and attended Warren Schools. She had been a resident of Meredith for over fifty years and spent the last several years in Laconia.
Madeline worked for many years for the former Amatex Asbestos Co., in Meredith, and also for the Cottage Pine Furniture Store, in Meredith, she was also a member of the Calvary Bible Church, in Meredith.
Madeline was predeceased by her infants, Annette Susan and Constance Lee Shontell; her son, Leo "Buddy" Tewksbury; two brothers, Roscoe Tewksbury and Weston Tewksbury; three sisters, Mary Whitten, Alberta Sargent, and Grace MacDonald
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Goodwin and Jacqueline Bauer, both of Florida; six grandchildren, Vincent Bellitto, Stephanie Wilson, Mallory Bauer, Matthew Bauer, Amanda Goodwin, and Kurt Goodwin; four great-grandchildren, Kylie Greg, Connor Greg, Landon Bauer, Ethan Goodwin, ; sister-in-law, Betty, Tewksbury; and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
