M. Cecelia Mayhew

M. Cecelia Mayhew, 89, formerly of Lenz St. Manchester, died January 21, 2017 At Courville at Manchester, after a period of failing health.
Born in Lincoln, NH. on February 22, 1927, she was the daughter of Raymond "Nig" John and Mary Anne (Doherty) Mayhew.
Cecelia grew up in Lincoln and moved to Plymouth in her junior high school years. They moved to Concord, NH and she graduated from St. John High School, in Concord, NH., class of 1945. She graduated from Hesser College, Manchester, with a degree in accounting.
Cecelia owned and operated Calvary Monument Company, on the west side of Manchester, for many years. She also worked as an accountant most all her life.
Cecelia was along-time member of St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, in Manchester.
Cecelia was predeceased by her siblings, James F. Mayhew Sr, who died in 2011, Henrietta M. Shea, who died in October 2015, and Raymond V. Mayhew, who died in February of 1969.
Cecelia is survived by her nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Eileen A. Mayhew of Plymouth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Church St. Lincoln, on Friday, May 19th, at 10am. The Rev. Dave Kneeland, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln, NH.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity one one's choice.
