HEBRON --- Lynda Marie Girard, 68, of Hebron, New Hampshire, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Lynda passed suddenly with her husband, William, by her side after a recent courageous and victorious battle with cancer. Though her passing is deeply difficult, we take comfort in knowing that God had other plans and needed another angel.

Born on October 13, 1957, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Lynda lived a life deeply rooted in family, time spent with her beloved husband, many close friends, and her community. She was devoted beyond measure to her husband, children, and grandchildren, and those who knew her will remember her for her infectious laugh, warm smile, wonderful stories, and her endless capacity to love and help others.

Quite often, Lynda could be found surrounded by friends and family, sitting in her beach chair in the shade at the Hebron Town Beach overlooking Newfound Lake, place she and Billy fell in love with and later moved to from Massachusetts in 2016.

Lynda is survived by her devoted husband, William Girard; her daughter, Krista Ortega, her spouse, Mo, and their son Kaden; her son, Michael Julian, his wife Laura, and their children, Halle and Thomas; her sister, Sheree Swanson, and her husband David; her sister Becky; and her brothers Keith and Shane. She is also survived by her beloved Aunt Phyllis Menard and cherished nieces and nephews Julia, David, Robin, and Brian. She was preceded in death by her father, William Tripp; her mother, Roberta Tripp; and her uncle, Steven Menard.

A viewing for Lynda will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Valentine's Day, February 14, and will be immediately followed by a service and reception. All services will be held at the Union Congregational Church,16 Church Ln, Hebron, NH 03241, - a little white church she dearly loved.

Although the loss of Lynda is deeply painful, her family finds strength in one another and in all who loved and cherished her.
