Lydia E. Belyea, 84, of Warren, passed away on Friday, December, 4 2009, at the Grafton County Nursing Home, in Haverhill, after a brief illness.Born on August 1, 1925, in Warren, she was the daughter of Louis J. and Flossie (Rollins) Derosia. Lydia was raised in Glencliff and attended the one room Glencliff School until 8th grade, graduating from Plymouth High School, Class of 1943.Lydia was a fifty plus year member of the Warren United Methodist Church and the united Methodist Womens Society. She was a telephone operator at Ft. Devens, MA during WWII and in other communities; she sewed professional baseballs and also worked on the Hot Lunch Program at the Warren Village School. Lydia was a devoted mother and wife.She is predeceased by her beloved husband of almost 47 years, Roland M. Belyea, of Warren; 3 brothers, Von Derosia, Louis Derosia, and Bill Derosia; and a sister, Evelyn Sweeney.Lydia is survived by two sons, Paul Belyea, of Dunbarton, and Philip Belyea and his special companion, Sharon Pushee, both of Glencliff; three sisters, Sadie Burgin-Bruleigh, of Groton, VT, Ruth Giverson, of Ludlow, MA, and Barbara Libby and husband Harold (Bud), of Chicopee, MA; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Memorials:In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warren United Methodist Church, PO Box 5, Warren, NH 03279, or to the Grafton County Home Association, c/o Doreen Moody, 3855 Dartmouth College Hwy., N.
