Louis Ottati JR, 65, of Lilac St. died July 4, 2012 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital.
Born in Lowell, MA on August 19, 1946, he was the son of Louis SR, and Gertrude E.
[Burns] Ottati.
He grew up in the Danville, NH and Brentwood, NH area and attended area schools. He resided for many years between Brentwood and Meredith. He has been a resident of Franklin for over twenty years.
Louis worked in his earlier years as a barber with his father in Brentwood and then went on to be a truck driver for Kingston Steel and Drum and then for GMI Paving. He also had worked as a correctional officer at the Concord State Prison for ten years.
He was predeceased by two grandchildren, William Cole and Sienna Watson.
Louis is survived by his children, Theresa Palmer and her husband Mark, of Bristol, Louis Ottati III and his wife Denise of Tilton, Wayne Ottati and his wife Karen of Bristol, Wendy Watson and her husband Ben of Florida, eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brothers, Frank Ottati of Zephyrhills, FL Joseph Ottati of Epping, NH, sisters, Nancy Gray of Lewiston, ME, Midge Church of Epping, NH, Phyllis Perkins of St. Johnsbury, VT, many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday 10am to 12am. A graveside service will be held in the Centre Cemetery, Danville NH, on Tuesday at 11am. The Mayhew Funeral Homes and Crematorium, of Meredith and Plymouth, are assisting the family with the cremation and the arrangements.
