LINCOLN—Linda Sue Bogard, 83, died on Sunday, March 31, 2024, peacefully at her home.
Linda was born on March 20, 1941, in Amarillo, TX, the daughter of the late Johnnie William Bogard and Iola Pearl (Latham) Bogard.
Linda loved her job as the assisted living marketing director at Broadway Plaza in Forth Worth, TX. During her well-deserved retirement years, she enjoyed taking cruises with her daughter Mary and playing golf with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her sister, Mary Bachman and her husband, Jack; sons, Harold Butch Phillips of Garland, TX, and Kevin Christopher Phillips of Grandbury, TX; daughter, Mary Lynn Etheridge and her husband, Donald Landry of Lincoln, NH; daughters-in-law, Lisa Dollar Phillips and Desiree Elston; grandchildren, Lynzee Kelly and her husband Ryan, Curtis Shane Etheridge, Chelsea Lorene Etheridge, Jacob Powell Etheredge and his wife, Krishawna, Christopher Phillips, Jesse Phillips and his fiancé, Luzia West, Austin Phillips, Madison Phillips, Veronica Barriento, and Mackenzie Burns; great-grandchildren, Courtney Swanson, Rydell Kelly, Roland Kelly, Reazon Kelly, Isabella Ortiz, Jameson Powell Etheridge, Journey Etheridge, Korbyn Etheridge, and Kasyn Etheridge; her hair dressers, Linda Rhodes of TX, and Candy Long of NH, and all her DeCordova Golf friends. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brother, Frank Bogard; daughters, Ginger Morris and Sherry Lee Phillips; and granddaughter, Ashley Morris.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at a later date.
