Leo A Robitaille

November 7, 1939 — February 9, 2024

Leo Robitaille, 84, passed away suddenly on Wednesday February 7, 2024, at his Meredith, NH home.

Leo was born November 7, 1939, in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Leo and Florette Robitaille. He was the oldest of 4 children. Leo grew up in Rhode Island, where he met and married his wife Jean (Gaudette) Robitaille on April 27, 1961. Their daughter Tammy was born on October 1,1967. The family of 3 moved to Holderness, NH in November 1975.

Leo worked in the automotive industry for decades as a mechanic and later as a service manager. His favorite job though was driving truck for Jeremy Hiltz Excavating which he did for over 20 years until his retirement in 2020.

Leo had a love for fast cars, motorcycles, and driving. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He never missed watching a game. Leo loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them and reminiscing about his many experiences and adventures in life.

Leo was a life long active member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where he served as an Elder. His deep love for Jehovah God and his unwavering faith in the future promises found in the Bible brought him comfort after the loss of his wife in February of 2017. Leo took every opportunity to share his beliefs with members of the community, so they too may find comfort in a happy hope for the future.

Leo was predeceased by both of his parents, his wife Jean Robitaille, his daughter Robin, and his sister Jean Pendlebury. Leo is survived and will be missed every day by his daughter Tammy Court and her husband Eric of Holderness, his grandson Evan Court and his wife Daniela of Dallas, Texas, his brother Roger Robitaille and wife Cathy of Laconia, his sister Pauline Lopes and her husband Ricky of Laconia and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
