Our beloved father, Lee D. McCoy passed away peacefully on December 18, 2009 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH. He was born in Lowell Massachusetts on June 6, 1933. His family moved to Campton, New Hampshire where, for several years, his family owned and operated the local grocery store known then as McCoy's Market, now the Campton Cupboard. He was a graduate of Plymouth State Teachers College, Class of 1955. Most of his professional years were spent as a Junior High School math teacher in Clarkstown, NY; although his passion for automobiles created side endeavors throughout his lifetime. He was an Army Veteran. He is survived by his brother David C. McCoy of Campton, his children, Andrea Badger of Wilton, NH, Jane E. McCoy-Smith of Novato, CA, Constance L. McCoy of Campton, NH and Leigh A. Marino of San Diego, CA, and his close friend, Maria Collins of New City, NY. He had twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Our father was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roscoe and Hazel Gertrude McCoy. He will miss his wonderful sense of humor, his guidance, love and support. Service: Funeral services will be held on January 23, at 11:00am at the Campton Congregational Church, Campton, NH.
