PLYMOUTH - Lawrence H. Cote, (64) passed away on August 21, 2017 after a period of failing health.
Lawrence was born on October 11, 1952 in Laconia NH, the son of Henry and Agnes (Chase) Cote. Lawrence grew up in Meredith, NH attending the Interlakes School District, graduating from Interlakes High School in 1971. During his high school year, he excelled in track and field receiving several awards.
After high school, he went to work at Freudenberg, starting his lifelong career in tool and die making, a skill and art that allowed him to travel and learn and further develop his career. He also worked at Quality Control's for many years, ending his career in NH at Gilbert Block before moving to Texas.
While living in New Hampshire he was a very active member of the Singles Club and later became President. When he was not active with the single club, he would spend his time, hiking, rock climbing, hunting and fishing, he was a true outdoorsman. He also loved his best friend and little dog Chico.
Larry was especially proud of being a Mason, He was a member for many years, having a strong sense of pride and accomplishments as he rose through the ranks, recently receiving his 25-year pin at the Doric Center Lodge #20. Larry was also members of the Shriners.
He always had a passion for traveling, he would take is 5th wheel and travel across country, living in New Mexico for a while before returning home to his family.
He is survived by his daughters; Sandra and her husband Michael Provost of Laconia, NH, Pamela Cote and her significant other Lawrence Pouliot of Plymouth, NH a son; Robert Cote of Plymouth, NH.
His grandchildren; Robert and Eric Bergeron of Laconia, NH, Lawrence, Christy Andrew and Katie Pouliot of Plymouth and Hailey Cote of Plymouth, NH. and Great Grand Children; Olivia, Sophia and Colton Bergeron of Augusta, Me, one brother; David Cote of Louisiana and two sisters; Donna Dolly and Joy Cote, both of Texas.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents.
In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to a Masonic Lodge or Shriners in your area.

Calling hours will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm at the Mayhew Funeral Home 204 D.W. Highway Meredith, NH 03253. A Masonic service will be performed during these hours. Burial will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
