Larry John Zimmer

Larry John Zimmer, 60, of NH Route 175, Holderness, died suddenly at his home on September 18, 2013.
Born in Plymouth, NH on June 27, 1953, he was the son of the late William Joseph, and Rose P. (Avery) Zimmer. Larry was a life-long resident of Holderness and a graduate of Plymouth High School.
Larry worked for a short time in Beebe River, NH at the former Draper and Maynard Corporation. He spent over thirty-eight years working for the State of NH, Department of Transportation, Bridge Maintenance Division, retiring as a supervisor on June 27th of this year.
Larry was a member of the Plymouth Lodge of Elks #2312, in Holderness. Larry was an avid pool player and enjoyed the Elks Sunday Pool League and the Wednesday night Pemi Valley 8 Ball League. He was also an avid golfer and played in the Elks Twilight League at White Mountain Country Club.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, cooking outside, and deep sea fishing.
Larry was predeceased by his sister Estel Marie Zimmer, brother, Phillip J. Zimmer and brother-in-law, John Levesque.
Larry is survived by his wife, Donna Lee (Jarvis) Zimmer of Holderness, sons, Joshua J. Zimmer of Hill, Daniel C. Zimmer and his wife Judith of Laconia, grandchildren, Demitri and Zoe, his mother, Rose P. Zimmer of Holderness, brothers, Anthony L. Zimmer and his wife Linda, Frank L. Zimmer and his wife Leslie, all of Holderness, sister, Linda R. Levesque of Wayland, NY, sister-in-law, Dorothea Zimmer of Holderness, Uncles, John, and Ronald, Aunts, Carol, June and Mary, many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St, Plymouth, on Sunday, Sept. 22nd from 2pm to 4pm. A private service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Trinity Churchyard Cemetery, Holderness.
