Kevin Carl Collins Sr, 56, of Meredith, passed away suddenly at his home on February 5, 2019.
Born in Laconia, NH. on November 18, 1962, he was the son of Oren T. Collins Jr. and the late Edna L. (Veasey) Labbie.
Kevin grew up in Meredith and has been a lifelong resident. He graduated from Inter-Lakes High School, class of 1981.
In the early 1990's Kevin began working for Bob and Suzan Berthelette at Keytown Service Garage then transferred as manager to the Moultonborough Self Storage and U-haul.
Kevin Sr. is survived by his father, Oren T. Collins and his wife Susan, children, Kevin C. Collins, Jr., Tessa Collins, her fiance Matt, his fiancée Trish A. McLaughlan, Trish's children Cassie Percy, her fiance Norman, Brett Percy, his fiancée Aimie, Morgan Crespo, her fiance Chris, 11 grandchildren, his siblings and their spouses Cathleen Collins, Colleen Collins, Debra Ceriello and husband James, Ruth Collins and Donald Hoyt, Brigham Collins and wife Lorri, Pernell Collins and wife Lorri, Dana Collins, Tracy Mertz and husband James, Karen Christopher, many nieces and nephews and their children as well as many dear friends.
Kevin "Pondo" Collins was a very loving and caring person, a very attentive and loving son, father, brother, step father, uncle and friend. Kevin was known by everyone in town for his kindness and sense of humor. He was the type of person you could call to ask for help for almost anything, even if it was just to come hangout for a couple hours and he would gladly help. His family and friends meant the world to him, he would give the shirt off his back for any of them, no questions asked. He will be greatly missed by everyone!
A Celebration of Kevin's Life will be held at the Griggs Wyatt American Legion Post #33, Plymouth, St. Meredith, on Wednesday, Feb. 13th, from 12pm to 4pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
