Karen L. Stafford; 64, of Rumney, NH, wife of Brian Corneau for the past 30 years, passed away unexpectedly on November 25 at her residence. Karen was born on November 12, 1954 in Somerville, MA, to the late Edward and Katherine Stafford, then residing in Maine.
She graduated from NHTI and University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Karen was employed by The Jennie D. Blake Elementary School in Hill, NH as the school nurse, which she loved as her work involved caring for all those kids.
Karen also love going to the ocean and walking along the beaches on the seacoast with her loving husband, Brian. She also enjoyed reading her collection of books and spending time with her two dogs, Madison and Gunner.
In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by her two sisters, Cathy White and her husband Bob, of Salisbury, MA and Joan Collazo and her husband Andres of Altadena, CA. Also, nephews Rob White and his partner Jenifer Neale, Brian White and his partner Kelly McKenna and Alex Collazo of NYC and niece Sinead Collazo of Seattle WA.
By the request of the family, funeral services will be private.
