Judith Gulian Switzer

Judith Gulian Switzer, of Maple St, died August 31, 2012 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital, in Lebanon, after a brief illness.
Born on December 22, 1934 in East Orange, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Grasse and Dorothy (Young) Gulian
Shortly thereafter her family moved to the Portland Maine area. She attended Deering High School and later attended Westbrook Junior College. In the fall of 1957, she married David C. Switzer of Portland Maine. Judith and David lived in several places including Vermont and Connecticut before settling in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
Judith was active in the community. She was a ski instructor at Tenney Mountain and then later at Cannon Mountain. Judith also coached the women's tennis team at Plymouth State University from 1997 thru 2004.
She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-five years, David C. Switzer, who died in February of 2012.
Judith is survived by daughter Kate Switzer of Plymouth, NH, son Stephen Switzer and wife Lesley of Waterville Valley, NH, sister, Barbara Sawyer and her husband Tom of Falmouth Foreside, ME, and sister, Patricia Gulian of South Portland, ME, two grandsons, Max and Ian Switzer also of Waterville Valley, NH.
