Jon Robert Chapman, (Jack), of Stoughton, Mass. passed away on May 27, 2009. Born in 1957, Jack was the son of the late John William, and Jean [Sawyer] Chapman . He attended Plymouth High School in Plymouth NH. He distinguished himself as the Captain of both the football and baseball teams. Upon graduation in 1976 Jack attended Miami Dade College in Florida and Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. Jack returned to the Boston area where he worked as a salesman for several car dealerships. Jack loved all sports, especially baseball, football and skiing. His favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Jack also loved music, especially the blues. One of his favorite musicians was James Cotton, who was also a close personal friend. Jack is survived by his stepmother, Martha Hill Chapman Wildove, and her husband Bernie Wildove of Lakeland Florida; Graziella Chapman, his former wife, their three children, Victoria, Skyla and Sean. Isis, Skyla's newborn daughter, is Jacks's only grandchild. Other survivors include his sisters, Judith Opfell and her husband Tom Opfell of Thompson, Ohio and Wendy Hill Chapman and her husband Joshua Boulanger of Keene, NH. Jack's nephews are James Franey and Nicholas Boulanger.Service: A funeral service will be held in the Plymouth United Methodist Church, Fairgrounds Road, Plymouth, on Saturday, June 20th, at 11am. The Rev. Edward J. Charest, pastor, will officiate. Cemetery: Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth.
