John J. Cavese, 53, of Plymouth, passed away on March 18, 2010, at Dartmouth - Hitchcock Medical Center, of Lebanon, after a brief period of illness.John was born on May 30, 1956 in Glen Cove, NY; he was the son of Angelo and Marie (Maravalli) Cavese. John was raised and attended schools in Glen Cove.In the mid-1980's John moved to the Plymouth area. He was an avid motorcyclist and a very outgoing person. John loved spending time with his family and many friends, he loved his children, and his granddaugter, and his two very special dogs, Foxy and Blackie.John is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Cavese, of NY. John is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia A. (Lewen), of Plymouth; three step-children, Ashley, Albert, and Jessica; a granddaughter, Giovania; two brothers, Ronald Cavese, of Fl, and Angelo Cavese, of Plymouth; six sisters, Susan and Richie Raia, of NY, Gail and Tommy Azalone, also of NY, Debbie and Ken Graffeo, of CA, Marie and Glen Dunlap, of Campton, Gerri Crowley, of NY, and Kathy and Russ Delisle, of NH.Memorials:Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.Visitation:Calling hours will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth, on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, from 10 thru 12 noon.Service:A Mass of Christian Burial willl be held following the calling hours at 12:30pm and will be celebrated at St. Matthew's Holy Trinity Parish, in Plymouth. The Rev. Leo LeBlanc, pastor, will officiate. Cemetery:Interment will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, Fairgrounds Rd., Plymouth, following the service.
