John Russell Steiss

John Steiss of Plymouth, NH passed away on January 20th, 2021 at the age of 74 with his family by his side.
He was born on November 12th, 1946 in Fairmont, WV. John spent much of his childhood in Toms River, NJ with his younger brother Jim and his parents Henry and Beatrice Steiss. John enjoyed playing baseball, camping, and fishing-three lifelong hobbies that he shared with his three sons. He also had a passion for photography; he captured many moments of a full and interesting life.
Throughout his life, John was engaged in several business ventures, including a pizza restaurant, a general store, and a log cabin rental property-Linger Longer-where he spent many of his final years with close friends and his faithful German Shepard, Leah.
He is survived by his three sons, Josh, Jacob, and Jonah Steiss, and his brother, Jim Steiss.
Visitation hours will not be held, but an internment service will take place this Spring in Hooksett, NH.
