John Alan MacDonald, 76, of a Plymouth, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Mountain Ridge Health Care Center, in Franklin, after a
lengthy illness.
A lifelong resident of Plymouth, he was born on January 16, 1938, the son of Alan and Arlene (Kimball) MacDonald. John attended Plymouth schools.
John was a friend to many and will be dearly missed by his family.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years, Joan F. MacDonald, in June 2014; his grandson, Brendan J. MacDonald; two brothers, Donnie and Kim; his two sisters, Sue Soderon and Sandy Greenwood.
John is lovingly survived by his four sons, John J. MacDonald and his wife Monique, of Thornton, Jamie MacDonald, of Plymouth, Jeff MacDonald, of Plymouth, Joey MacDonald, also of Plymouth; a daughter, Melissa Goodwin and her husband Tim, of St. John, Virgin Islands; eleven grandchildren, Nick, Matt, Brad, Kylee, Owen, Christian, Callista, Logan, Brittany, Phillip, Bridget; and his great-granddaughter, Addison.
Donations in John's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
