John "Jack" Stephen Kozlowski, 68, of Chase Road, Meredith, died suddenly at his home on the morning of July 26, 2016.
Born in Natick, MA on January 7, 1948 at home during a snowstorm to his parents, Francis Joseph Sr. and Mary A. (Corkery) Kozlowski.
Jack attended Natick Schools, "Home of Champions". He graduated high school in 1966, where he played Varsity hockey and football. He joined the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Moved to Meredith, NH during the blizzard of 78' where he met Jackie, who he later married in 1989. They have one son, Stephen.
He was an electrical contractor who ran a successful company for decades in the Lakes Region known as Kozlowski Electric. His dedication and hard work contributed to the success of his company.
Jack had a passion for flying and became a helicopter pilot. He purchased his own helicopter and has an official helipad named Smiling Jack's at his residence along with a hangar to store it. Jack offered rides at various events, such as the fishing derby, bike week, and castle in the clouds.
He was also an avid golfer and was a member at Lochmere Golf Club.
Jack was extremely friendly, often saying hello and striking up conversations with complete strangers. He had a great outlook on life, always positive and cheerful. He was a wonderful husband and the best father.
