John W. (Jeff) Mason

John W. (Jeff) Mason died at his Holderness, NH home, Saturday, January 29, 2011, after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was 66 years old.The son of John W. and Louise (Preston) Mason, he was born in Brooklyn, NY. Jeff received his BS in Engineering and MBA from the University of Michigan. He has a 31 year career in sales and marketing at IBM and, in retirement, started North Star Rentals in Plymouth, NH.An enthusiastic sportsman, he was an avid boater, paddle and tennis player, bicyclist and skier. He was a 25 year veteran of the National Ski Patrol at Boyne Mountain, Michigan and Okemo, VT.Jeff is survived by his wife of 42 years, Millicent "Missy" (Noble); his three children, Matthew and wife Jennifer, of Brookline, MA, Nicholas and wife Heather, of Plymouth, NH, and Katherine, of Somerville, MA; his granddaughters, Becky, Abby, Holly, and Laurel; and a brother, Peter and wife Louise, of Richmond, VA.Memorials:His family is grateful for the overwhelming support of friends, colleagues, and the Pemi - Baker Home Health and Hospice during his illness.
