On November 30, 2024, John Ballou died in Moultonborough, New Hampshire at age 69. John is survived by his sister's Cathy Ballou Theriault (Gary Theriault) and Susan Ballou Emerson (Brian Blanchette). He was a proud father of four children, Amanda Ostrander, Crystal Kenney (Tim Kenney), Brittany Ballou and Brandon Ballou (Morgan Ballou) and six grandchildren, Maliah, Foster, Harper, Brady, Austyn, and Easton. John was proceeded in death by his parents, Ivan Ballou and Theda Barker (Dickerson).
John was born on January 17, 1955, in Keene, New Hampshire. Summers were spent at Sand Pond and memories were made. John finished school and proceeded to enter into the Army. After his service in the military, John settled in Florida where he was married and had children. In 2018, John retired to Moultonborough, New Hampshire to a cabin in which he loved. During his retired years he would travel to visit his family and new places for different music festivals and experiences.
No funeral service or memorial is planned.
