Joe Littlefield

January 22, 1940 — October 21, 2016

Joe Littlefield, 76, of Campton, went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2016, surrounded by his family after a seven year courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Rumney, NH on January 22, 1940, he was the son of Edwin and Anna (Brown) Littlefield.

Joe spent the first ten years of his life in Rumney and has been a resident of Campton since.

Joe worked for the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative for over forty-five years; working his way from Lineman to Foreman, before his retirement in 2006.

Joe was a US Army veteran and served just prior to the Vietnam War.

Joe was always a hard working man and an excellent provider for his family. He enjoyed taking care of his vegetable garden and keeping his land well tended. He was a man of tradition and old fashion values. There could never be a greater husband and father. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joe is survived by his wife Edith L. (Hobart) Littlefield, of Campton and his daughter, Christa M. Littlefield of New Hampton, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the Blair Cemetery, Blair Bridge Road, Campton, on Wednesday, Oct. 26th, at 11am. The Rev. Russell C. Petrie and Rev. Cynthia B. Petrie, pastors of the Campton Congregational Church, will officiate.
