Joanne F. Camara, 65, of Rumney, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at her home, after a lengthy illness.
Born on November 28, 1949 in Springfield, VT, she was the daughter of Ralph and Pearl (Stocker) Foristall. Joanne was raised in Proctorville, VT and attended local schools, before relocating with her family to Hillsborough, NH, where she graduated from the Hillsborough High School.
For over 30 years, she and her husband Thomas owned and operated the T.C. Heavy Equipment Hauling Co., where she performed secretarial duties; she also operated a home cleaning business where she worked for many local families.
Joanne will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife and mother; she loved flowers and gardening at her home on the Baker River. She had a deep love of animals, including her dogs and her miniature Donkey.
She is predeceased by her parents; two sons, Thomas F. Camara, Jr., and Tracy Dennis Camara; and her brother, Gary Foristall.
Joanne is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Thomas F. Camara, Sr., of Rumney; two sisters, Rose Marie Booth and her husband Tim, of Bennington, NH, Sandra Riley and her husband James, of Hillsborough, NH; a brother, William Foristall, of Henniker, NH; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services and Interment will be private.
