Joan Marie Morabito, 73, of Buffalo Road, Rumney, beloved wife, mother and friend, died suddenly on January 18, 2016, at Speare Memorial Hospital.
Born in Woburn, Massachusetts on April 16, 1942, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Dunnigan) Boviard.
Joan grew up in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School, class of 1959. She resided in Marshfield, MA., before moving to the Rumney in 1972.
Joan served the town of Rumney as the Town Clerk for five years and served the town of Plymouth as the Deputy Town Clerk for twenty-seven years.
Joan is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Alfred "Wally W. Morabito of Rumney, her children, Christine Morabito, and Steven A. Morabito and his partner Randy Calkins all of Manchester, NH., grandson Duke Kandakai of Manchester, her brother James Boviard of Massachusetts, several nieces and nephews.
