WENTWORTH --- Jeremiah “Miah” Godfrey was born at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital on May 5, 1987, at 14:36. Miah played football from the time he was 8 years old for Pop Warner Football until he was 18 years old at Plymouth Regional High School. If it had a motor Miah loved it as a child. Dirt bikes, snowmobiles, ATVs, or his Hell Cat in his later years, he loved his face in the wind.
Over the course of his 38 years, Jeremiah thrived in sales of all kinds, starting with internet, to cars and finally selling high end windows. He was loved by all his clients for his infectious smile and kind heart.
Jeremiah enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, riding his motorcycle and visiting on the porch swing. He loved all family gatherings, Sunday dinner competitions, football nights, and watching the stars around the fire pit. Jeremiah had a beautiful voice and could sing anything, even songs from one of his favorite artists, Celine Dion. Jeremiah played and coached softball for many years, his enthusiasm was contagious and kept his team and the fans completely engaged in the game.
Jeremiah leaves behind his wife, Megan Godfrey; two daughters, Lindsey Godfrey and Grace Godfrey; parents, Kevin and Monica Godfrey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Amber and Karlton Kingsbury, Shauna and Jason Moores, and Devin and Bow Green; six nieces and nephews; his five beloved dogs and his cat Lieutenant Dan; as well as many other family members and lifelong friends.
