MOULTONBOROUGH---Jean McNeil Viano [Hunter], (92) passed away at Belknap County Nursing Home on April 6, 2018.
Jean was born in Arlington, MA on December 13, 1925.
Jean moved to Center Harbor in 1957, with her then husband, John Viano, where she raised their twelve children.
Jean was an accomplished pianist; enjoyed learning about local history; playing cards, working in her garden, and being with her dog, Chakotay. She also loved being at the ocean. She was known locally as the "Reading Lady".
She is survived by her children - William Viano and his wife Valerie of Chicago, Elaine Willett and her husband Ramsey of Meredith, Nancy Howe of Meredith, John Viano and his wife Kathy of Plymouth, Kenneth Viano and his wife Kathy of Nashville, TN, Sheila Heald and her husband Craig of Center Sandwich, Barbara Colangelo and her husband Thomas of West Simsbury, CT, Virginia Bird and her husband Ward of Moultonborough, Paul Viano of Burke, VA, Peter Viano of Moultonborough and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean is predeceased by her parents Clarence and Jean Hunter; her sons, Christopher and Stephen; and her sisters, Helen, Janice and Anne.

The family will plan a private burial.
