Jayne Schabacker Brown

THORNTON, NH---. Jayne Schabacker Brown, (58) died Wednesday, February 24, comfortably in her home surrounded by her loving family after a valiant fight against cancer. Jayne was born April 22, 1957 in Denville NJ. She attended Denville public schools and earned a Bachelor degree from Plymouth State in 1980
She was employed at Loon Mountain and worked in human resources. She also worked at Waterville Valley Resort for many years prior to Loon.
Jayne enjoyed traveling, gardening, skiing and boating on her beloved Squam Lake. She served as treasurer/ clerk of the Thornton School district for many years and also served as a Girl Scout Leader, volunteered for Thornton's Destination Imagination program as well as numerous school field trips. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend to many.
Jayne is survived by her husband of 30 years; Jeffrey Brown, her daughter Erica Brown and fiancé Edgar Costa or Dover, NH, daughter Samantha Brown of Cambridge, MA, her brother Richard Schabacker and his son Robert Schabacker of Denville NJ, nieces Crystal and Kimber Schabacker of Newton, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Dorothy Schabacker and her brother Russell Schabacker.
