She was born in Burlington, Vermont, to Darce Lewis and Francis Badore Lewis, both deceased.
Out of high school Janet pursued a career with AT&T phone company. After 40 plus years she retired from Verizon phone company.
In her free time, she loved to knit, sew, and make award-winning quilts. She loved her time spent at her home away from home in Florida.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph B. Price of Meredith, NH; her son Joseph M. Price of Meredith, NH; sister Darcelene Lewis Wedge of Hinesburg, Vermont; brother David Lewis of Ripton, Vermont; plus, many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be at Mayhew Funeral Home, Route 3 and Cataldo Road, Meredith, NH 03253 on Friday March 1 from 4-6 pm
