Jane S. Stohn died on July 11, 2010, at home with her family by her side. Jane was born on November 11, 1921 in Middleborough, MA, to Henry W. Savage Jr., and Janet (Sears) Savage. She graduated from Middleborough Memorial High School and attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.  She was married William T. Stohn residing in Hanover and Norwell MA before moving to Campton, NH in 1969.  Jane enjoyed caring for her family and led an active life riding the family horses, boating on the South Shore and Cape Cod, playing tennis and golf and gardening.  She belonged to the Norwell Garden Club, and Norwell League of Women Voters, Sceva Speare Hospital Auxiliary, Waukewan Golf Club, White Mountain Golf Club, Owl's Nest Golf Club and the NH State Ladies Golf Association.  Active in the Town of Campton, she served on the Campton Zoning Board of Adjustment for 17 years.   Jane was predeceased by her husband, William, a son, William T. Stohn, Jr, her sister, Elizabeth S Draghetti, two brothers, John B Savage and Henry W Savage III and a niece, Lydia D Malzone.  She is survived by her daughter Deborah S. Stohn, grandson William W. Lambert, his wife, Mary and two great grandchildren, Wesley and Katherine Lambert as well as her beloved niece, Janet Draghetti from Duxbury, MA.  Memorials:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to:  NH Human Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03246Service:A graveside service will be held in Norwell Massachusetts at a later date.
