James H. Shaughnessy

James “Jimmy” Shaughnessy, 71, of Plymouth, New Hampshire, died unexpectedly on December 5, 2023.

Jimmy loved working with his hands and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Throughout his life he held various jobs including painting high tension towers and maintenance at General Dynamics.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his father Micheal P. Shaughnessy, his mother Carolyn E. Donald (Foley) and her husband David E. Donald, and his brothers Micheal, Patrick, and Robert.

He is survived by his son Lewis Shaughnessy (Jennifer) of East Liverpool, Ohio, and
his daughters Vickie Rodgers (Kevin) and Janet Shaughnessy of Brunswick, Maine. Jimmy also leaves behind his siblings Ruth Finn, Carolyn Somers (William), Jeanette, Diann and John Shaughnessy, Martin Shaughnessy (Patricia) and Roger Shaughnessy (Kimberly).

Along with 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
