Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, James Senner served his country as a soldier and as a decorated Government employee Following his discharge from the Army in 1962, he returned home to attend university where he met Mary, who became his wife of 58 years, and earned his law degree. Upon graduation, he was offered a job with the Central Intelligence Agency and served under cover around the world. Over the course of his career, he lived in India, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sudan and Finland while his family grew to include 4 daughters. After retirement, he had a successful career as an Innkeeper and real estate owner. His passions included oriental rugs, dogs, and the history of WWII. His independent streak, sharp wit, way with words and sense of humor will be missed by everyone who knew him.
The family will receive friends for calling hours on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at the Meredith Chapel of the Mayhew Funeral Home, 204 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith, NH 03253 with a memorial service to follow at 4:00pm.
