James Henry Price

Rumney, NH- James Price Jr. passed peacefully from this life, Friday, July 19, 2024. Born in Stamford, CT March 8, 1935 was the son of the late James Price Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Kane) Price. After moving to Ohio and graduating from Dayton HS in 1953 he proudly joined the US Navy and served in the Korean War from 1953-1956. Jim's working career from the 60's through the 90's was a letter carrier in Stamford, CT. Living in Stamford, CT and then moving to Monroe, CT in 1972. Jim also worked part-time for Keen Flower shop in Stamford, CT in which he took along his sons on many holiday deliveries.

Upon retirement in 1992 and moving to Warren, NH, Jim (Jimbob) as he was affectionally known worked at the Warren, NH recycling center until retiring in 2014.

In his younger years he enjoyed going to Ebbets field and the Polo Grounds in NY to watch his beloved Brooklyn Dodgers and NY Giants baseball games. Jim also loved to watch football games each and every Sunday. Jim was an avid golfer and loved getting out on the golf course. Jim had a wonderful marriage to his wife Angela (Tobin) Price from 1964 until her passing in 2018. Jim and Angie raised 5 sons.

Besides his parents and wife Jim was predeceased by twin sister Barbara Krause, his sons Patrick (2001) and Billy (1987). He is survived by 3 sons, Christopher (Carrie) of The Villages, FL. Jimmy (Julie) of Rumney, NH and Todd (Audry) of Oxford, CT. His grandchildren, Caitlynn (great grandchild, Meaghan), Chelsea Bereski (Craig), Carlee, Christen, Jimmy Price IV and Trenton. To the best Dad, Pop pop and friend, we will forever miss you and we'll see you again someday.
