James H. Grover, 92, of Tilton, New Hampshire, formerly of Sharon, Massachusetts, died May 1, 2010. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 11, 1917, the son of Charles and Mary (Hedgecock) Grover. He graduated from Harvard University in 1940 and shortly thereafter joined the Navy where he served in the Pacific in World War II. After the war, he graduated from Boston University Law School and made a career practicing patent law. He was an avid fly fisherman and a member of the Flycasters. He also enjoyed bird watching and the outdoors and was a lifelong supporter of the Audubon Society. He also enjoyed woodworking and crossword puzzles. He was predeceased by his wife Carol MacKinnon, and a son, David. He is survived by his younger brother Stuart of Bedford, Massachusetts, son James of Poughkeepsie, New York, daughter Robin of Concord, New Hampshire, several nephews, a niece, a granddaughter and several great-grandchildren.
