MEREDITH - Jacqueline Marie (Appleyard) Kiesel departed this life peacefully on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at age 83, at Golden View Healthcare Center, where she had resided since February of 2011.
Jackie was born Oct. 16, 1934, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Albert E. Appleyard and Lulu F. (Burdick).
Jackie graduated in 1952 from Stratford High School, in Stratford Connecticut. She attended The University of Connecticut for two years, after which she entered the business world, as a customer service representative with The Southern New England Telephone Company.
Jackie spent a career as a human resource professional, ultimately founding her own business, TIGA Associates Human Resources Consultants, in Connecticut.
Jackie married Ronald William Kiesel on Nov. 27, 1965, and they lived in Stratford, Connecticut until 1996 when they retired and relocated to Meredith, where they built a new home and have lived ever since, and where Ronald continues to live. They have no children.
Jackie was very active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the Prayer Group for many years.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, in Meredith, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct.6, and her ashes will be interred in the memorial garden there.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie's memory may be made to the Trinity Church Memorial Garden Fund, P.O. Box 635, Meredith, NH 03253
