Jackie E. Cone

Jackie Eugene Cone passed away December 24, 2020 with his loving wife, Elisabeth, of 57 years by his side. He was born on November 11, 1937 in Nashville, Georgia to John Carrell Cone and Maggie (Pafford) Cone. He was the youngest child of their 12 children. Jackie enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 21. He had a very successful and honorable 20-year career achieving the rank of Major. He was a Huey Helicopter Pilot and had two tours in Vietnam. Jackie met his wife while stationed in Germany; they married and had their beautiful daughter, Monika. Jackie was Monika's biggest fan and supporter.

He was a true Southern Gentleman. A loving husband, father, father in law to Lynda Smethurst and Grandfather to Truffles, Summit and Sassy. His family was his greatest joy. They enjoyed family trips traveling around the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Ireland.

He will be remembered for his love, kindness and special spirit by all that knew him.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the New Hampshire Humane Society.
