Plymouth---Irene A. Wilkie (Simoneau) (94) passed away peacefully on Thursday January 21, 2016 at Speare Memorial Hospital.
 
 Irene was born in Laconia, New Hampshire on January 6, 1922 to Albert and Marie Simoneau. She moved to Plymouth, New Hampshire with her family at a young age. Irene attended Plymouth schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1940. After high school she went to work at Plymouth Stitching and remained a loyal employee until her retirement.
 
 Irene was a huge sports fan and loved to watch all the New England teams, as well as tennis and golf. She loved spending time with family, enjoyed sitting in the Plymouth Commons, was a regular player at Bingo, and a long-time visitor/volunteer at the Plymouth Senior Center.
 
 She is survived by her daughters, Anita Wilkie of Plymouth, Dorothy and her husband Jeffrey Ouellette of Plymouth, Paula and her husband Robert Foley of Dover, and her sons, Dale and his wife Linda of Plymouth, Floyd and his wife Prudence of Campton; one brother, Clement Simoneau of Sanford, Maine; one sister, Anita Gray of Ashland, NH, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 
 There will be no calling hours. Irene's family plans to have a Celebration of Her Life, which will be held sometime this spring.
