Herbert Christian Link 81, of Stinson Lake, Rumney, NH, and Navarre FL, died Wednesday, September 4th, 2013. Born June 23rd, 1932 in Flushing Long Island, NY; he was the son of George and Martha Herter Link.
Herb was a veteran of the Coast Guard. He Worked for the New York Life Insurance Company and also owned his own insurance agency in Monroe, Connecticut. He was an avid sportsman who especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and many other outdoor sports.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Judith Grimes Link; beloved father of Chris Link, of Plymouth NH, Debbie Link and Spouse Alice, of Stinson Lake, NH, Cathy Holland Brennan and spouse Tim, of Candia, NH, Karen Andrews and spouse Robert, of Augusta, GA, two grandchildren, Alex Holland, and Ashley Holland, and his sister in-law Barbara Heofler Link. He was predeceased by his brother George William Link who died July 15th, 2013.
A private celebration for friends and family was held this past weekend.
