Henry Everet Mcisaac

PLYMOUTH --- Henry "Pat" McIsaac, Jr. (91) passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side on Monday October, 31, 2016.

Henry was born on January 4, 1925 in Warren, New Hampshire, the son of Henry and Natalie (Libby) McIsaac, Sr.

After attending Plymouth High School, Henry went to work for the Boston & Maine Railroad for 4 years, until the railroad shutdown. After leaving the rail road, he went to work alongside his father at the Mooseelauke Inn in Warren for almost 18 years. After he left the Inn, in 1962, he went to work for the State of New Hampshire at the Glencliff Home for the Elderly. While working there he met the love of his life, Elizabeth, in 1978. They married in 1980.

After they were married they made their home in Plymouth, New Hampshire. In 1990 Henry retired, giving him more free time to enjoy hunting, fishing, playing golf, music and spending more time with his loving wife and family. "Pat" was known for being an accomplished musician and earned the title of "North Country Musical Lauret". Some of his accomplishments; At 13 he joined his father's band, playing square dance and waltz music. When he was 14 he received a saxophone for Christmas from his mother and father and began taking lessons from Phil Spaulding in Plymouth. At the age of 20 he took over his father's band and for the next 35 years played concerts throughout the Baker River Valley. Some of the many venues where Pat's band played included the Warren Town Hall, Rumney Fire Department, and for Dot Brown's Painted Barn in Wentworth every summer. But after 70 years of playing, Henry said "That's enough", retiring from music.

Survivors include; his wife; Elizabeth (Elliott) McIsaac of 36 years, one step daughter; Debra Geiger and her husband Roy Geiger of, Temple, New Hampshire, Two grandsons; Steven Geiger of Chester, New Hampshire and Timothy Geiger of Milford, New Hampshire, One great grandson; Michael Geiger of Milford, New Hampshire and one step great grandchild; Willow Ovens of Milford, New Hampshire.

Henry was predeceased by his parents and a step son; Timothy Glode.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Plymouth Fire Department, 42 Highland Street, Plymouth, New Hampshire 03264 in Henry's memory.
