Helen C. "Nancy" Welch

Helen C. "Nance" Welch, 78, of Gould Ave., Meredith, passed with peace and grace, on April 1, 2017, at her home.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts on May 9, 1938, she was the daughter of John Anthony and Helen Cecelia (Wall) Pierce.
Nance met Donald and was married in Arlington, Massachusetts and they spent several years in Marshfield, MA before settling in Center Harbor, NH in 1982.
Nance's love of nature and of the unknown sent her on many paths of self-discovery, which she freely shared with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Her legacy is that life is to be lived and enjoyed.
Nance was predeceased by her husband Donald, Sr., who died in April of 2013.
Nance is survived by her children, Deborah of Meredith, Donald and wife AnneMarie of Moultonborough, Karen Bartlett and husband Douglas of Dunbarton, Thomas and wife Sarah of Meredith, Shawn and wife Angela of New Durham, and thirteen grandchildren she adored.
"Tis a Celebration of Life" will be held on Friday, April 21, 1pm to 3pm at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 204 Daniel Webster HWY, Meredith. A prayer service will follow at 3pm.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Greater Lakes Child Advocacy Center, 95 Water Street, Laconia, NH
