Hazel Gray

BRIDGEWATER---- Hazel (Rand) Gray, 83 of Bridgewater NH passed to eternity January 10th, 2024.
Hazel was born on February 5, 1940, in Conway NH, Predeceased by her parents Roger O & Mary Isabel (Gordon) Rand, and brother Phillip Rand.
She is survived by her devoted husband Derwood C. Gray and her sister Janice Rand of Bartlett, NH. She attended Kennett High School and Berkshire Christian College. She is also survived by Stanley Hall, to whom she was married for 45 years. Her living legacy is her 6 children and their spouses, 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, and many people she adopted into her heart and home along the way. You may have experienced her hospitality with a room in her home and a place at her table.
Her faith was an action she exemplified whether work or play and had a way of pulling you into her positivity yet free of judgement. Hazel was loyal to and uplifted by her church community, her faith gave her an amazing strength she was able to share.
With Hazel it wasn’t so important what she did for work, although it usually served others, but that she brought her standard of excellence into everything she endeavored.
We will never forget her smile and laughter through the myriad of fun and adventures whether square dancing or sledding with the kids. She admired God’s creation and spent many hours outside gardening, hiking, swimming, etc. Thank you, Hazel, for those precious memories. She has left some very big shoes to fill and will be dearly missed. She forged a path we all can follow with confidence.
A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Bible Church, 6 Saint James Street, Meredith NH 03253 on January 20th, 2024 @ 10:00AM.
