Harry Donald "Don" Stewart Jr., 81, of Winona Road, Ashland, died October 18, 2015, at his home, after a long illness.
 
 
 Born in Waltham, Massachusetts on March 8, 1934, he was the son of Harry Donald Sr. and Edith (Gianferante) Stewart.
 
 
 Don grew up in Weston and graduated from Weston High School, class of 1953. Shortly after graduating, Don entered the US Air Force and became an aviation mechanic and was stationed in Goose Bay, Labrador, and Louisiana. He has been a resident of Ashland for the past eighteen years.
 
 
 Don owned and operated Stoneybrook Automotives, in Weston, MA. During his retirement to Ashland, Donald worked for several area golf courses in the ground maintenance departments.
 
 
 Don is survived by his wife of forty years, Carol A. (Deane) Stewart of Ashland, son, Randall Stewart of Massachusetts, step-children, Jill Whitney Holmes and Martha Whitney Clifford and her husband Michael, all of Plymouth, two grandchildren, Alicia Clifford and LCPL Zach Clifford, two sisters, Edith Kressy of Campton, Betty Crummett of Massachusetts, nieces and nephews.
