Harold George Patterson, 70, of Route #25, Rumney, died May 8, 2017 at his home, after a period of failing health.
Born in Plymouth, NH. on September 3, 1946, he was the son of Horace G. and Mary (Gould) Patterson.
Harold grew up in Rumney and graduated from Russell Elementary School and Plymouth High School, in Plymouth. He has been a resident of Rumney most all his life.
Harold was a Master Electrician and had worked for several different companies including; Sunshine Laundry, former Sprague Electric, Plymouth Animal Hospital, all in Plymouth, Townsend Ranch, in Pembroke, NH, and as maintenance engineer at the Merrimack County Home, in Boscawen, NH., until his retirement in 2000.
Harold enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports and loved gathering with family and friends.
Harold was predeceased by his parents, and his sister, Patricia Risley.
Harold is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Jane W. (Foss) Patterson, of Rumney, sons, Hal Patterson and his wife Robin of Rumney, Gary Roberge and his former wife Chris of TN., four grandchildren, Gary Roberge, Yodi Sagio of TN., Hal Patterson, Jonah Myles, both of Rumney, three great grandchildren, Eon, Gavin and Gradin, sisters, Mary Lee Wilson of Canaan, NH., Barbara Libby of Hill, NH., also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Hal's Life will be held at his home on September 3, 2017, from 11am to 4pm.
