On March 3, 2023, the world lost an incredible man, Graham Bradley Wright, who gave his love and wisdom to others for 94 years. He passed away peacefully in his home.
Graham was born in 1928 in Arlington, Massachusetts and grew up in Watertown. He attended Watertown High where he met his wife of 68 years, Lorraine. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. They settled in Carlisle, Massachusetts where they raised their children.
When Graham spoke, everyone listened, waiting for a bit of wisdom or a funny joke. Graham always looked for the good in people and in life. He lived a long and happy life and treasured the time he could spend with family including many great-grandchildren and countless friends. Graham was a lover and enjoyed a good hug.
Graham was the oldest living Past Master of Saint John's Lodge in Boston where he was a member for 57 years. He was an avid skier, hunter and enjoyed the camaraderie of a round of golf with friends. Graham loved to sing and sang in choirs for many years with his wife Lorraine. They bought land and built a house in Lincoln, NH where they retired.
Graham is survived by his daughter Yvonne Larson and husband Michael, son Wayne Wright and wife Darlene, daughter Judith Unsworth, daughter-in-law Susan Wright, and daughter Wendy Tanner and husband Tom, grandchildren Jamie Noke, Amanda Burrows, Julie Meehan, Jocelyn Graham, Lacey Glajch, Justin Wright, Emily Larson and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graham is predeceased by his wife Lorraine Wright and his son Bradley Wright.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 2-4pm at the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St, in Plymouth, NH. A graveside service will take place at the Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln, NH in the spring.
