Grace Ruth Lyford, 84, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Franklin Regional Hospital.
Born on March 17, 1928, in Concord, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Gennie (Govin) Heath. Grace was raised in Concord, graduating from the Concord High School.
Grace is survived by her beloved husband of more than 40 years, Roland Lyford, of Rumney; three daughters, Louise Wright and husband Herman, of Plymouth, Lovdy Farley, of Concord, and Dorinda Downing, of Hooksett; two sons, Garry Hamm and wife Dodie, of Plymouth, and Roland Lyford Jr., also of Plymouth; she is also survived by her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Visitation:Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth from 1:00pm through 2:30 pm.Cemetery:Interment will be held in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, at a later date and will be private.
