Geraldine Mae Patterson

Geraldine Mae (Houghton) Patterson peacefully passed away from this life on November 2, 2013 at her home at the age of 91.
Born in Plymouth, NH she was the daughter of Herbert and Grace (Wilkins) Houghton. She was pre deceased by her husband Raymond O. Patterson and her great grandson Donald Daigle.
Throughout her life, she lived in Plymouth, NH, Manchester, NH and Rumney, NH. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1941. She was the class Secretary and continued to coordinate class reunions and get-togethers through their 70th year. She worked for many years at the Plymouth Record and Ames Department store. She enjoyed her many travels throughout the State of NH with her friends to bingo through fair weather and foul. She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years and more recently playing Yahtzee and Skip-Bo with her friends. She was an avid bird watcher and a Red Sox Fan!
She is survived by her four children, Charlotte and Russell Mottram, of Windsor, CT, Ray and Kathi Patterson of Rumney, Florence and Al Daigle, also of Rumney, and Roger and Catharine Patterson, of Scottsburg, IN, as well as 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to GSIL (Granite State Independent Living at 21 Chennell Drive, Concord, NH 03301 ( www.gsil.org ) or to the Plymouth Methodist Church where she was a longtime member.
